Rules of Use of Tickets

1. The Single Journey Ticket is only valid for entry at the station of issue and on the day of issue. The expired ticket is regarded null and will be taken back to the station. If a passenger doesn’t return the Single Journey Ticket when leaving, it will be treated as invalid according to the Rules.

2. If a passenger carries items weighing more than 20 kg and less than 30 kg, or items with external dimensions greater than 1.4 meters in length, width and height and less than 1.6 meters, he or she has to go to the customer service center to buy a luggage ticket equal to the fare of ordinary carriages (passengers who enjoy the preferential policy of free riding and take business carriages do not need to buy luggage tickets). Items weighing more than 30 kg or with external dimensions over 1.6 meters in length, width and height are not allowed to take into the metro.

3. The passenger should take the metro with the ticket corresponding to the travelling section and the class of carriage, and go out of the gates within the specified time limits (except passenger who can ride for free according to the rules).

4. The passenger should follow the rules of “One-Person-One-Card(QR code)” and “One-In-One-Out”, which means the passenger should enter and exit the gate with the same card (QR code), and a card (QR code) should not be used by multiple persons.

5. The refund and replacement of Shenzhen Tong Card and China T-union Card (issued by local or non-local banks) are not available at Customer Service Center of the station. The refund and replacement of Shenzhen Tong Card and China T-union Card issued within Shenzhen are only available at places designated by Shenzhen Tong Company (please refer to the relevant regulations of Shenzhen Tong Company for details)

6. If you take the metro with Shenzhen Metro code and Shenzhen Tong code and need to obtain invoices, you can get them after binding your account with the function of "Electronic Invoice" of Shenzhen Metro Mini Program. If you take the metro with the single journey ticket, the China T-union Card (issued by non-local banks) or the financial IC card and need to obtain invoices, you may go to the Customer Service Center to get them before leaving the ticket gate with the ticket/ride record. The passenger can get the electronic invoice for recharging fare of Shenzhen Tong Card through the official website of Shenzhen Tong, and Shenzhen Tong Official APP. Paper invoices are not available when he or she takes the metro. For further information, please contact the station staff.

7. In case the transaction of the China T-union Card is incomplete, the passenger should process it in the place where the incomplete transaction occurs before using it again. Shenzhen does not provide the processing service for incomplete transaction that occurs in different cities.

8. The passenger takes the metro with a Financial Integrated Circuit(IC) Cards, involving in the pre-authorized transaction, shall ensure that the available balance of the card is no less than the maximum one-way ticket fare of the ordinary class carriage. In case of abnormal deduction due to insufficient balance or amount available in the passenger's card, the system will restrict the passenger's ride.

9. Passenger enters and exits the gate by Shenzhen Metro Ticket QR Code, Shenzhen Tong QR Code without following the rule of “One-In-One-Out”, resulting in incomplete riding record, will receive the system message that reminds the passenger to complete the riding information. If the passenger does not complete the information in time, the system will deduct the corresponding fare according to the rules of tickets. Incomplete riding records caused by malicious acts will have influence on the subsequent riding and personal credit of the passenger.
